MR. GABRIEL WORLANYO ASARE
(CEO)
A cherished son endowed the Volta Region of Ghana who epitomizes such incredible qualities as initiative, faith and the will to win, he easily fits into any group that will allow him to manifest his ancillary skills for the success of any endeavours to benefit the group.
‘Gabby’ as affectionately called is a very good and creative young man who likes to implement strategic policies and a proactive team-player with excellent inter personal relationship, awesome communication skills as well as very enthusiastic and possessing a positive drive and attitude required to be successful in all spheres of life.
His growing activism in seeking social and academic transformation in the Methodist university college Ghana,he attended made him very popular and became the SRC President of in 2013 to warrant him into mainstream politics; yet he declined to rather point his aspirations to the corporate world and private business.
His love for the aviation industry stimulated him to undertake a course with the now defunct Ghana Airways Training School and in the school, his spirit and character endeared him to everyone who met him and subsequently gave him illimitable opportunities during his working days at Alitalia Airlines, the pride of Italian Aviation; including other reputable institutions he was poached to work for.
He further proceeded to undertake an Advanced Diploma course in Cargo Rating with IATA, The international Air Transport Association.
At Alitalia, he rose from his humble beginnings as a Cargo Officer through the ranks and became one of the managers in charge of operations at the Cargo section at the Kotoka international airport (K.I.A )
Lastly, with his natural sense of diplomacy, he was trained to have proactive crisis management and clear emergency plans to handle disruptions.
Clearly, one could say that his thoughts on the airline business and aviation in general corroborates the intention of the Right Brothers to surpass the bird in flight and give humanity the comfort, speed and safety of long distance traveling.
To show his appreciation to his maker, the ‘human- angel’ is engaged in numerous church activities and is currently the president of the men’s fellowship in his church.
***Having concurrently held the positions of International Relations Director, The Director of Protocol and acting Finance Director of Absolute Peace International (API) and Africa for Glory Agenda (AGA); both parts of a conglomerate, he proved with his astute propensity for coordination, that we are living in a great interconnected age; everywhere we see the evolutionary forces working great changes in the method and manner of our living; rearranging the relationships between men in the ordinary pursuit of life, liberty and a living.
His spirit of volunteerism is also unparalleled, to the extent of handling the administration department of the Robert Memorial School in Tema when a vacuum emerged and discharged his duties very well to the admiration of all.
Mr. Gabriel W. Asare also led a campaign to coordinate his high school year group to provide a number of air conditioners to refurbish the I.C.T centre for his Alma Mater.
His consistency in being in the goal post for all schools he has attended from creche to the university is remarkable and is currently a first team goalie for the Elwak Star Team which features the likes of Bayern Munich legend Sammy Kufour and many others.
Finally, his unquestionable belief in Pan- Africanism is backed by the fact that he appreciates that Africa’s tremendous opportunities will surely be harnessed and utilized and that the divine spark of creative power is still alive in us and if we have the Grace to kindle it into flames, then the stars in their courses can not defeat our efforts to attain the goals of human endeavours.
